As the Christmas break is soon approaching, most students seek places to relax and clear their minds when they are not catching up on sleep. When all the deadlines have passed, and all the assignments have been handed in, what else is there to do in Middelburg? Luckily for you, Out & About has made a list of all the things you can do in Middelburg during the most wonderful time of the year.
Christmas Market Middelburg:
Visit the Christmas market in Middelburg and stroll around, passing shops like Rituals, de Drvkkery, Intersport, and Chocolate Lovers for special Christmas surprises. Take in all the Christmas lights, street theatre, and music, and most of all the ‘gezelligheid’. Visit the market on Saturday for the perfect hangover cure.
When? Friday 12 December: 10.00 – 21.00 Saturday 13 December: 09.00 – 17.00Christmas Market Veere:
Visit the city of Veere for another Christmas market. The market square of Veere will be filled with 40 stands with food and decoration, hot chocolate and glühwein. The fully decorated square will be the platform for the live Christmas music.

Christmas Market on the Farm:

On this farm in Middelburg you can get your last- minute Christmas gifts. With fire pits, hot chocolate, crêpes, and glühwein, your afternoon is sure to bring you in the Christmas spirit. All of the proceeds will be donated to Serious Request. Do good during this time of year and grab a hot chocolate!

From the 10th to the 20th of December you can enjoy the wonders of the Dutch theatre right here in Middelburg. Several plays will be performed in the Middelburg Stadsschouwburg.

De Spot:
De Spot does not stop. Get into the Christmas spirit with these events. New Cool Collective, a jazz band, will be playing in the spot. Have a great night out with your friends listening to this lively band.
